The deer really weren't too concerned about us, there were a ton of them ready to have their picture made. This one had a baby with it, we drove past them at a distance of about 20 yards and they didn't really seem to care about us.

Finally, we wound up at Lake Abilene. The beast could no longer be contained. Let the jail break commence!

Of course, I did throw the stick, so I suppose I am to blame as well!

I told Nash that if he got in the water, he was riding in the back of my truck on the way home. He thought this might help...

It didn't. He got to hang out in the back for a while, but it was his first trip. Despite being tied in, he eventually moved from resting his head on my truck box to climbing up on it while we went down the road. I couldn't let anything happen to him, so we dug up an old blanket under the back seat and let him back in. Oh well! Eventually the wet dog smell will get out of my seats, right? Right? Oh dang.

We had a blast and can't wait to do it again sometime. Talk to everyone later!

I know that Nash enjoyed all the outdoor time he got while you were here. We'll have to do it again soon!! Love ya!! :)
Wet dag is worse than we baby. Good blog. I like the last pic.
Great blog. We did have some fun in Texas, didn't we??? I agree with Bill, that last pic is great. It really shows Nash's personality!!! While your dad was there, Nash sat between the couch and coffee table with his head on the table as if he was watching TV and his head was too heavy to hold up while he did!!! LOL.... It was great seeing you guys and hope to see you both again soon. Love ya!!
Good blog. Glad you had a good time in TX. Looks like Nash had a good time. Don't you wonder if the dog can smell himself?
Love.
All your photos are great! Glad you had such a fun trip.
