As mentioned in the comments, I did not get an award for memory. I wound up working a double, so I have not had a chance to update ya'll till now. Plus, I've kind of been struggling with how to write about this. I'm not really good at talking about myself. Luckily for that problem, I've been in the news a little bit, so I'll just let them tell you about it.
Here is a link to a local newspaper/blog.
The local news did a quick blurb (about 5 seconds or so) about it too, but I haven't seen it on their website yet. It probably won't be there, it really wasn't much.
I wound up with a total of 3 awards, one for the prior medical save (which I referenced in my last post), the main one mentioned in the article above, as well as the unit citation mentioned in the article.
My Chief is big on getting word out about accomplishments in the department, and as such he is asking if I am willing to do an interview or two. Not my style, but I am a team player, so I suppose I had better do it haha.

Yay, yay, yay!!! Our Eagle Scout has come through once again.
We are all so very proud of you for "just doing your job"..... That's the name of the game.... You save someone and they will be there for you if you need them in the future....
Love ya!!
We are indeed proud of you! Whoo Hoo
That's awesome!! I'm really proud of you!! Maybe when we come to Franklin in the next couple of weeks, we'll bring Maddy up to visit!! (Would that be okay if we have some extra time??) Love ya!! :)
Congratulations Chris. Doing your job well is it's own reward, but it sure is nice when others know about it. Just keep being who you are and your family will always be proud of you.
Love.
Keep up the good work. We all wonder if we can answer the call. (what ever that call may be) You have passed the first test.
Words can not express how proud I am of you and your accomplishments.
Congratulations!!
Dad
