We just ran a medical call here for a guy that was either drunk or having a diabetic emergency. Turns out he was both. We gave him something for the low blood sugar, but unfortunately there was nothing we could do for the reported history of alcoholism. After his sugar came back up, he was a happy drunk, laughing, slurring out jokes (not joking out slurs, that would be bad!). He had a Boston accent, which reminded me of our family up North. He was a hoot and happy to see us, just kept laughing at his situation (or whatever silly thing drunks laugh at!) He would start to wander off, and one of us would call out his name and give him a simple command (sit here, move there, hand me your arm) and he'd focus his eyes briefly on whichever of us was talking, favor us with a smile and a laugh, and comply. It turned out to be a much better call than we were anticipating. Hopefully rehab will work out this time.
As for the work on the kitchen, we realized that we don't have any pictures up yet, so we'll take some and I'll try to post them soon. I also finally finished up my bow, so I need to post that as well. Hope everyone had a good weekend, and I'll talk to you soon.
