Happy Birthday

To me!

I want to start this blog off to thank everyone for their cards, calls, and gifts for my Birthday last Friday. It's great to know everyone was thinking of me, thank you very much!

I worked Thursday, and my birthday got off to a fast start Friday when I was brushing my teeth at the station before coming home. I bent over to spit and they took that opportunity to administer a birthday spanking. I wasn't ready for it, but it was a good laugh.

My parents came in Friday and we had a great visit. They just left this AM and are still driving home while I type this. We went out to eat a few times and last night we cooked the quail from our hunting trip and had them for dinner. It turned out great.

We don't have a cute little baby here, so there weren't many pictures taken. It did rain like crazy last night, and we got some pictures of that. There was a little flooding here, but luckily it ran into the side yard and not into the house. I'm sure April or I will post them soon.

We've also been pretty busy the past few weeks secretly redoing our kitchen. I wanted to surprise my parents and see their reaction to it, so I've kept quiet about it. I'll do another blog soon to post the pictures of it.

Anyhow, that's enough for now. We're enjoying a quiet rainy memorial day at home today, I hope everyone else is having a nice day wherever you are. Remember the reason for the day, and a special thank you goes out to Grandpop and Bryan, and everyone else that has served. They are the reason we get to have a BBQ today, and we should never forget that. I won't say anymore about it, there are a ton of other people that say it better than me. But thank you, one and all.
